Brazil Copa America 2021 Team Squad Schedule: Team Brazil is recognized as one of the strongest and the third most successful contenders in the Copa America. Brazil has so far delivered an outstanding performance in the tournament and is seven titles behind Uruguay and Argentina.
The squad holds talented players, however, the proper execution at the major events like Copa America has restricted the team achieving the feat in recent years. In the recently concluded football World Cup, Brazil faced a defeat against Belgium and a draw against Panama. However, it showed a comeback with a winning streak of 3-1 against the Czech Republic.
Under the Tite’s captaincy, the team seized a 2-0 win against Qatar, courtesy to goals from ace players Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison in the first half. Dani Alves: He is recognized as an integral player in the Brazilian squad, possessing a much needed attacking threat despite having Alex Sandro and Filipe Luis through the left defensive flank. Thomas Tuchel from the club adopted and picked the 36-Year-old Dani to a position as a right wing-back. So far he has claimed supremely towards his attacking threat. It will be interesting to watch out Richarlison at the right-hand flank, joining Alves with the Everton attacker.
Philippe Coutinho: With Neymar’s recent injury, his entry in the team is still under suspicion and it is in his absence, Philippe Coutinho is expected to be played as the left-winger. The Barcelona forward has faced a tough season at the Nou camp, but one cannot ignore or doubt his qualities in the field.
One of the key qualities Countinho holds is his ability to skip past opponents and also score screamers from outside the box. He holds strong chemistry with his former club teammate Roberto Firmino and possesses an abundance of confidence and strength to change the games solely.
Roberto Firmino: The Brazilian International Forward/ Winger Roberto Winger is the most experienced player in the side having played in a different role for Liverpool this campaign. He displayed his skills in the 2016/17 season and thereafter became an integral part as an attacking midfielder.
He was set aside by Tite in the recently concluded Worldcup, where Tite publicly accepted his mistake by playing Jesus over Firmino. He has phenomenal 2017/18 season with 27 goals in his kitty and is once again ready to handle the same position as an attacker in the upcoming Copa America 2020.
